The mark of Packard Bell computers announced Wednesday, December 9 the recall of notebook PCs sold in Europe because of a failure on the batteries. Are concerned, the models EasyNote MX36, MX37, MX51 and MX52 sold between July and December 2007.
The batteries contained in these devices may cause an internal short circuit can cause overheating and even burning of the laptop. The manufacturer, however, dismisses the risk of electrocution of the user.
Packard Bell has identified to date no injuries to its clients related to the battery problem.
People who bought a laptop affected by this recall are urged to remove the battery from their machine and go to the website of the brand to be aware of the replacement of these batteries.
