  1. I don’t like the idea of that to be honest. I would rather Facebook and Twitter be 2 completely different sites, with different users. Oh well – interesting news.

  2. I guess this is facebook trying to claw back some of the users it is losing to twitter. Twitter hasnt helped by forcing the 140 limit. At a guess it will now show as something like “[FACEBOOK]John Smith is something random here…[READ THE FULL UPDATE AT FACEBOOK]” to try and get the users to go back to facebook.

    That’s a good news.

Recently, all the major sites like Faves, Squidoo and Ezinearticles started to understand the power of twitter and allow their members to automatically post to twitter ..

Facebook was like “I work alone” company, but this is a good step IMHO ..

Personally that will save me some minutes, for my site I have just to update the facebook page and it goes automatically to Twitter ..

I’ll do that now! thatk you for sharing the info ! Keep up the good work!

  4. That’s not very suprising in my opinion. Many people use both services but only update their statuses on only one.

I think it might be a smart move for both companies to cross promote.

  5. i love this news.. i love it coz i have accnt on twtr and facebook

not a big idea. its not much worth to keep posting all in twitter

  8. Internet TV says:

Kinda pointless because of the shortening. Could end up in some embarassing situations. (If my comment was posted on twitter it prbly would have ended at ‘barass’ imagine if you made a spelling mistake and wrote bare ass lol you wouldn’t really be able to explain yourself out of that one.

I do love Facebook than Twitter, because we can just post link, photos to share. And 140 characters on Twitter sometimes too much when we have nothing to say.

  10. Tedd says:

I think this will save my times when i bookmark my website content. But yeah, kinda useless cause both are a different kind of promotion and some of your follower may not add your fb, and so on

  11. I also use both, but only really update facebook status. Twitter really isn’t for me.
