Daemon Tools Lite is an emulator of CD-ROM / DVD-ROM. It creates one or more virtual CD from an ISO image. You do not need CD or DVD, the application supports the following image types: ISO, CUE, CCD, Clone CD, BlindWrite, DiscJuggler and many others. It allows you to set the virtual drives and automate certain tasks such as launching at startup, the automatic and much more. To run Daemon Tools on Windows Vista, simply click on the executable with the right mouse button and choose Properties-> Compatibility. Then check the box to run the program under a different system and choose Windows XP or 2000 from the dropdown below.

MyDefrag – Free disk defragmenter and optimizer

MyDefrag (formerly JKDefrag) is defragmentation software for Windows 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista.

Compared to the defragmenter included with Windows, it has many advantages.

HijackThis 2.0.2 – Disinfect your PC

Service pack 3 for Windows XP

The service pack 3 for Windows XP (XP SP3) is a major update for Windows XP providing over 1000 hot fixes including many concerns corrections security vulnerabilities as well as some additional features.

Among the new features of Service Pack 3 include:

     * The native of [WPA2] to networks [WIFI]
     * Support for NAP (Network Access Protection)

Note that this version is valid for 32-bit systems, it does not improve significantly if you have previously updated your version of Windows XP with Windows Update service and could pose some problems for compatibility users using graphical themes such as Vista Inspirat. Recently this update from Windows has suffered some criticism, it was indeed detected a lack of security SP3. Automatically export bookmarks Firefox 3

Compared to Firefox 2, Firefox 3 uses a new bookmark manager. Bookmarks are not stored in the bookmarks.html file (in the directory of your Firefox profile), rather they are stored in  SQLite database (places.sqlite).

If the performance is much better, we can not directly read this file (e.g. in another browser). However, you can ask Firefox 3 automatically export bookmarks to bookmarks.html.

Here’s how:
In the address bar of Firefox 3, type about: config
A warning will appear: Click on “I will care, I promise!”

In “Filter”, type autoexport, then double-click the “browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML” to pass the value to true.

Firefox can now automatically export your bookmarks to the bookmarks.html file for each closure Firefox
